Editorial policy — how this site is written, funded and corrected
This is an affiliate site. That shapes the incentives, so it belongs at the top of the page rather than in a footer nobody reads.
How we are paid
Links to Betjili on this site are affiliate links. Register through one and play, and a proportion of what the operator earns from your account comes to us. It costs you nothing and changes nothing about your terms as a player — but we earn more when you deposit, and you should read everything here knowing that.
What we do about it: the payment model is revenue share rather than a fixed fee per signup, and attribution is lifetime. That aligns us with players who have a working, uneventful experience over years, and against churning people through a platform that does not pay out. It is structure rather than virtue — but the structure is the reason honest coverage and our commercial interest point the same direction.
It also explains why a page like the licence question exists at all. A site optimising purely for signups would not write it.
How we grade sources
This site covers a brand where the sources disagree, so the grading is the method.
| Grade | What it means | How we mark it |
|---|---|---|
| Verified | Checkable against a source with no stake — a regulator's register, for instance | Stated as fact. For Betjili this category is currently empty |
| Operator-stated | The company says it on its own pages | "The operator states", "the operator claims" — a claim, never a confirmation |
| Independent, informal | Forum moderators, complaint databases, review platforms | Named and quoted, with the nature of the source made clear |
| Unconfirmed | Figures circulating on third-party sites we could not verify | Described as unconfirmed and not reproduced as fact |
| General mechanics | How wagering, RTP, bookmaker margin or reference codes work | Not operator-specific, and marked as general where it matters |
We do not treat other affiliate sites as sources, including ones that agree with us. A figure repeated across six affiliate pages is usually one figure copied six times.
What we will not publish
- Unverified figures presented as facts. No minimums, limits, processing times or bonus terms unless we could confirm them. Where we could not, we say so and send you to the cashier.
- Ratings we did not measure. No score out of ten, no stars, no aggregateRating markup. There is no rating data behind this site, so any score we printed would be invention wearing the clothes of a measurement.
- Fabricated reviews or player quotes.
- Copied content. Nothing here is reused from another site in our portfolio or anywhere else.
- Mirrored APK files. We link to the operator's own download and host nothing.
- Dark patterns. No countdown timers, no fake scarcity, no exit-intent popups.
- Guaranteed-win claims. No system, tipster or predictor works, and we will not imply otherwise.
On absence of evidence
A missing licence number is not proof that an operator is unlicensed. An empty complaint record is not proof of good behaviour. A bad rating on one platform is not proof that it applies to the operation currently trading under that name.
Keeping those apart in the writing is the job. A hole in the record is a hole, not a hidden answer pointing one way or the other. Where we do not know something, the page says so — including where saying so is commercially inconvenient for us.
Images
The diagrams here are original illustrations produced for this site and labelled as diagrams, never presented as screenshots. The image licence page covers the specifics.
Updates and corrections
Every page shows when it was last verified. Anything that changes the substance — a published licence number, a Casino Guru review page appearing, a first formal complaint, confirmation about the AskGamblers listing — triggers a rewrite rather than a date bump.
If something here is wrong, we want to know and we will correct it. That includes the case we would most like to be wrong about: if you obtain a licence number from support and it verifies in the regulator's register, tell us and this site changes accordingly. A site whose factual claims cannot be trusted has no value to anyone, including its owner.
Not a licensed adviser, not a dispute service, and not a party to your relationship with any operator. Your account is invisible to us: no balance, no payments, no ability to move a withdrawal along. Anyone approaching you in this site's name and asking for account details is impersonating it.
